In 2014, Richard Mille released the RM51-01 watch, also known as the Tiger and Dragon, which translates to in Chinese. The name is truly fitting, as it features a 3D painting of the fierce competition between the tiger and the dragon. The creative inspiration for the watch comes from the Chinese film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, with its exquisite elements handcrafted and embedded into the movement and dial. Richard Mille's craftsmanship is remarkable, as the entire watch is painted by hand to depict the tiger and dragon in vivid detail.
