In 2014, Richard Mille released the RM51-01 watch, also known as the Tiger and Dragon watch, which translates to in Chinese. The name is truly fitting, as it features 3D colorful paintings of the tiger and dragon battling for supremacy. The creative inspiration for the watch comes from the Chinese film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, with exquisite elements fully handcrafted and embedded into the movement and dial. Richard Mille's craftsmanship is remarkable, as the entire piece is hand-painted, bringing the tiger and dragon to life. The bold and fierce tiger represents courage, while the dragon's peaceful aura symbolizes happiness and prosperity.
