Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 movement, integrating material innovation with watch architecture. The RM12-01 tourbillon watch features the RM12-01 tourbillon and offers various limited editions exclusively at boutique stores in the Americas. The case structure of the new RM12-01 tourbillon follows the principle of three-dimensionality, combining all case components seamlessly. The lines of the movement are inspired by architectural design structures, with a tubular inclined structure providing optimal rigidity and torsional stiffness, along with excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The base plate's function uniquely combines with the functions of the movement and bridges, creating a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly displayed through a perfect combination of polishing, satin finishing, circular finishing, and high polishing. Its integrated base plate is inspired by racing chassis, enhancing rigidity and shock resistance. Notably, the sharp streamlined curves surrounding the mainspring barrel, the large wheel, and the tourbillon extend to the end of the manually wound movement.
