37mm brand new 50th Anniversary version Ref. 15550ST
A new green dial variant has been introduced, with a shade of green that instantly recalls the brand color of Audemars Piguet, making it very fresh and appealing!
The new Ref. 15550ST retains the original design from 1972 but incorporates several subtle adjustments to the case, dial, and strap. Notably, the angled surfaces at the top and bottom of the case have been enlarged, achieving a better overall proportion! On the other hand, the manual satin finish of the watch has been enhanced, creating a stronger interplay of light and shadow with the polished surfaces. The dial still features the unique square pattern, while the 24K gold three-dimensional Audemars Piguet logo at the 12 o'clock position is made using an electroplating method (similar to 3D printing), replacing the previous three-dimensional AP logo and printed Audemars Piguet text.
On the 22K exclusive rotor of the movement, the 50th Anniversary inscription is also present. This rotor showcases the 50th anniversary logo and the Audemars Piguet logo through intricate hollowed techniques and has undergone a similar satin finish and polished treatment as the case! Additionally, the watch has further integrated the case back into the case, making it more comfortable to wear and better fitting the curve of the wrist. The strap has also been redesigned, with the first four links changing from parallelogram shapes to trapezoidal shapes, gradually decreasing in width to enhance the streamlined aesthetic. All links are slimmer, making the watch feel lighter when worn!
