Omega Speedmaster, the soul of Omega. The manual winding 3861 transparent case back version is the latest fourth generation Speedmaster watch for the moon landing. Model .60.42.10.001 is a classic chronograph.With a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 13.6mm, it is crafted from Moonshine 18K gold, featuring a classic green PVD treated stepped dial that presents a sunburst effect. The hands continue the style of the moonwatch, adorned in green, and the tachymetric scale is made using OMEGA s Ceragold technology. The three sub dials at 9, 3, and 6 o clock display the continuous seconds, 30 minute chronograph, and 12 hour chronograph respectively.The strap adopts a five link design, which appears finer, rounder, and slimmer compared to the previous three piece bracelet. The clasp has also been redesigned from round to flat, featuring six grooves. The watch design is minimalist yet practical. This legendary chronograph has participated in all six of humanity s moon landing missions, exemplifying the pioneering spirit of the brand.
