It is both a wristwatch and a table clock. The Cartier CPCP gold table bell, Cloche, is one of the rarest designs in Cartier's watchmaking history, originating from the bell-shaped watch design of the year. Over the course of a century, it has only been released a handful of t.mes s. This does not.mes an that the Cloche is unpopular; on the contrary, it is one of Cartier's most renowned creations. The Cloche breaks away from traditional wristwatch wearing styles, allowing it to be worn on the wrist or placed on a bedside table, transforming into a miniature table clock. With an appropriately dramatic flair, it captures the essence of early 20th-century European modern art perfectly. The CPCP version from 2007 is one of the rarest iterations, with only a little over a hundred pieces produced. This version slightly enlarges the early Cloche, featuring a more robust and modern shell shape. The Prive version from 2025 retains the design characteristics of the CPCP version and is highly praised among seasoned collects ors, available in two sizes: 24mm and 30mm. Cartier.
