Introducing the new BLS model, an exclusive debut of the IWC Pilot's Series R2, the latest version with original mold designed for the market. This watch is crafted from 316 stainless steel with a brand-new mold, featuring a size of 41mm and a strap width of 20mm.
2 In addition to the extremely eye-catching tachymetric bezel, these two high-performance pilot watches further enhance their dynamic racing genes. The scales and Arabic numeral hour markers, which are typically printed in standard pilot watches, have been transformed into inlaid forms similar to those of the Big Pilot G63. Furthermore, the edges of all hour markers and hands, as well as the dial, are adorned with a glossy black finish that perfectly complements the shiny tachymetric bezel. The addition of glossy black significantly elevates the exquisite and high-end appearance of the pilot watches. Additionally, the three sub-dials not only divide the digital area and scales but also feature an outer scale ring with a special slope, creating a sunken effect that further enhances the overall refinement and dimensionality of the watch.
3 The movement is based on the Asia7750, a transparent replica of IWC's 69385 automatic winding mechanism. The movement panel is finely polished, offering a strong sense of three-dimensionality! The case is meticulously polished using Swiss craftsmanship and then hand-finished, providing a substantial texture. The screw-down crown and double-sided anti-reflective dome sapphire crystal are exceptionally clear and can withstand rapid pressure drops.
4 The dial design continues the classic cockpit instrument style of pilot watches, with the dial color meticulously adjusted through hundreds of comparisons with the authentic version, achieving an almost identical look to the original.
5 The strap is made of original Vulkano rubber paired with IWC's quick-change system (EasX-CHANGE), allowing you to switch between the steel and rubber straps effortlessly without tools. The steel strap features manual quick-release capabilities! A significant investment was made to dismantle the original and replicate its structure and details one by one, ensuring a very high level of accuracy in the watch's reproduction.
