The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch series has a new addition: the 310.30.42.50.04.001 with a white dial. One of the most notable features is the white dial paired with the red Speedmaster lettering. The design of the white dial is inspired by the secret project Alaska that Omega collaborated on with NASA in 1969. The watch case measures 42mm and is made of stainless steel, featuring a black anodized bezel with a tachymetric scale that includes the iconic Dot over 90 mark. This model is specifically designed for enthusiasts of the Speedmaster Moonwatch. It is powered by Omega's new 3861 Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement, which is an upgraded version of the legendary 321 movement trusted by astronauts during the moon landing. Compared to the previous transparent caseback version of the Moonwatch with the 3861 movement, there are two differences: 1. A white lacquered surface that gives a porcelain-like texture at certain angles; 2. Black PVD-coated hands that create a striking contrast with the dial, enhancing readability.
