The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch series has launched a new model: the 310.30.42.50.04.001 with a white dial. A standout feature is the white dial paired with red Speedmaster lettering. The design of the white dial is inspired by the Alaska Project, a top-secret collaboration between Omega and NASA completed in 1969. The case is 42mm in size, made of stainless steel, and features a black anodized bezel with the iconic tachymetric scale marked with the distinctive Dotover90.This model is specifically designed for enthusiasts of the Speedmaster Moonwatch series and is powered by Omega's new Caliber 3861 Master Chronometer movement. This movement is an upgraded version of the legendary Caliber 321, which has been trusted by astronauts during lunar missions. Compared to the previous 3861 version of the Moonwatch with a transparent case back, there are two main differences: 1. A white lacquered surface that exhibits a porcelain-like texture from certain angles; 2. Black PVD-coated hands that provide a striking contrast against the dial, enhancing readability.
