The entire piece features a solid sesame base color (approximately one minute of work). The blue and white striped band is created using a hanging fluff technique, which takes a considerable amount of t.mes (around 70 minutes). During sewing, the ribbings at the hem and cuffs requires double-layer stitching, with the collar bone area wrapped to avoid exposure (the collar stitching requires two passes). The ribbings at the bottom and the body ribbings do not align on the same line, and the sleeves are sewn in a circular fashion, which extends the sewing t.mes significantly. After the embroidery, the blue and white striped band and zipper are attached, requiring special attention to ensure the band is straight during flat stitching, as it is prone to misalignment. The zipper is internally bound, and the collar is quite high, making zipper sewing relatively challenging.The entire manufacturing process involves numerous steps, and the white fabric is particularly prone to soiling, which increases the finishing t.mes and the rate of defective products.
